I’ve been practicing yoga for 27 years and teaching for 16.
Prior to opening
Goodyoga in 2009, I was a Teacher Training Program Advisor for YogaWorks, the world’s largest training program.

When I closed my 8th location in May of 2023, we were Brooklyn’s oldest studio. I’ve personally taught 20 teacher trainings in their entirety. I hold every certification the Yoga Alliance issues.

Yoga is a scientifically proven approach to whole health. Patanjali’s 8 limbed Philosophy is the 1st Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: 8 simple steps to be present in each moment. It’s not religious, or even, necessarily, spiritual. Yoga is a simple process, a way of being present.

I offer a framework for learning and applying the practice to your current challenges and those to come.

In addition to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Teachings of Siddartha Gautama Buddha, I designed my lifestyle according to complementary strategies encountered in my decades of research into health and longevity, among them, Dr. Bill Hettler’s idea of Wellness, Aristotle’s philosophy of Eudaimonia, The Stoics, the Japanese system of Ikigai, Neuroscience, Endocrinology, Circadian Rhythms, and more.
